2026 GUNS N HOSES

SATURDAY, JUNE 6
MUNICIPAL AUDITORIUM

ABOUT MORE THAN A BOUT

The hardest part of boxing is the pressure of standing alone in the ring.

Show up and let our First Responders know that we are in their corner because we are all in the fight together.

What We Do

Kansas City Guns N Hoses is a "RED" vs. "BLUE" charity boxing event that brings our area's finest Firefighters, EMTs, and Police Officers together to raise funds for the families of our fallen first responders.

This event benefits the programs of the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission (KCMCC), primarily the SAFE program (Surviving Spouse and Family Endowment). SAFE provides immediate financial assistance to families of our area first responders who are killed or suffer catastrophic injury in the line of duty. KCMCC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all donations are tax-deductible.

Who We Help

SAFE provides financial assistance to the dependent families of first responders in SAFE's 13-county coverage area who are killed or suffer catastrophic injury in the line of duty. Often, insurance and other benefits can take weeks or even months to pay while the financial responsibilities for the family do not stop. One of the most important aspects of SAFE is the immediate financial assistance provided within 24-48 hours following the tragic loss of their loved one.

Kansas City Guns N Hoses has grown into one of the largest fundraisers for the Crime Commission's SAFE program. We are proud to share that our family benefits have progressed from $3,000 when we began in 2005 to $40,000 today, thanks in part to events like this and all of our dedicated boxers, volunteers and patrons. Those We Honor

Please take a moment to remember our fallen first responders. These men and women, and their families, dedicated their lives to protecting and serving our communities. It is with honor that we remember their sacrifices and continue to support everyone who is willing to lay down their own life to protect ours. All of our SAFE first responders will be honored at our 2026 Guns N Hoses event.
