Adopt-A-Street Program Available in KCMO for 2019!

Have you ever wanted to “Adopt-A-Street” in Kansas City? Now is your chance! The Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission has recently taken over responsibility for the Adopt-A-Street program in Kansas City, Missouri. Take pride in your neighborhood and community. Honor a loved one, volunteer with your organization, or simply help out the environment by doing your part. Request your street today before it’s gone!

What is Adopt-A-Street?

Adopt-A-Street is a volunteer program in Kansas City, Missouri. Streets within the city limits are available for adoption by groups, families, and organizations that want to beautify and positively impact our community. Adoption periods are 2 years and each adopted street must be cleaned of litter a minimum of 3 times per year by the adopting organization.

Getting Started

Please indicate on the form below what street you are interested in adopting, and be sure to include boundary streets. (Example: Prospect Ave between Independence and 85th Street.) Suggested adoption length is 1 mile.

Upon receipt of your Street Request, you will be contacted by the Adopt-A-Street Program Coordinator, who will approve or deny your street adoption and assist you in completing the required paperwork.
